SHRI. T.H  SEJPAL
MANAGING TRUSTEE, KUMKUM SCHOOL

Kumkum School is the product of a vision. A vision to establish an educational institute imparting world class education while still keeping students firmly rooted to Indian morals and values. It was in 1992 that Shri. T.H Sejpal, a lifelong educationist, laid the foundation of the school. From a handful of students in the first year to over 6,000 students now, the journey of the school is a product of sheer willpower and hard work of this man who had utmost faith in his dream to create a world class educational institution.

Somewhere something incredible is waiting to be known”
– Carl Sagan.
When I came across this amazing quote, I realized how relevant it is for all of
us: children, parents and teachers.
Education is not just about the subjects that are learnt and taught in school.
The thirst of knowledge is not restricted to the child. It is also essential for a
parent and a teacher to keep adding to their own knowledge bank by keeping their
eyes & ears open and by reading as much as possible by ensuring that children
develop this habits as well.
I would like to dedicate this year to a current understanding of what education
really means and let us all be beneficial from this understanding.

“Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think”- Albert Einstein

I feel honored and privileged to be part of an educational Institution where
every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and discover. We
look at ourselves as a community of learners, where every one learns including our
teachers, parents and staff.
